How to Use
1. Choose the Correct Size: SCF153/01 is the 15 mm small size. Philips also offers a 21 mm medium version.
2. Clean the Shield: Wash and sterilize the nipple shield before use according to the manufacturer's care instructions.
3. Position the Shield: Place the shield centrally over the nipple, ensuring the nipple is positioned correctly inside the tunnel.
4. Secure Around the Areola: Gently stretch the silicone base around the areola so that the shield sits securely.
5. Help Baby Latch: Bring your baby to the breast and ensure they latch onto the shield and as much of the areola as possible.
6. After Feeding: Remove the shield carefully, clean it thoroughly and allow it to dry before storing it in the hygienic carrying case.
Safety Note: Inspect the nipple shield before every use and discard it at the first signs of damage or weakness. Philips advises replacing the shield after 2 months of use.
