So, let’s break down the reasons behind being hungry while pregnant.

In the second trimester, the baby starts growing, and that’s exactly when women start feeling hungry, and it peaks in the third trimester.

How to handle increased appetite during pregnancy?

Being hungry while pregnant is normal; you must not feel bad about eating more often. But it helps to be mindful about how you’re eating. Here are a few tips to keep your hunger in check and make sure you’re nourishing your body the right way:

  • Try to eat regular meals and snacks throughout the day.

  • While occasional treats are fine, focus on foods that fuel your body.

  • Keep a water bottle nearby, and ensure you drink enough throughout the day.
